Kat Von D became known for her work as a tattoo artist, appearances on television programs, and the empire she built in the cosmetics industry. Now, the artist presents her passion for music to the world with "Enough," the third single from her debut album.
With synthesizers and Kat's deep voice, the track narrates the darker aspects of an unhealthy relationship. Interestingly, the lyrics are one of the few on the project not written by the artist herself, credited to Chris Brenner and developed alongside Danny Lohner of Nine Inch Nails .
The work was born from a period of depression, but it doesn't romanticize that period in the artist's life. “It’s definitely not where I want to live, but there’s a beauty and vulnerability and a strength in that too. I’m not ashamed to write about my flaws, I have many,” she told American Songwriter .
Including the singles “I Am Nothing” and “Excorcism”, the album Love Made Me Do It will be released on August 27th and is available for pre-order now . See cover art and tracklist below.
